for babies and toddlers
This program is a great experience for very young children and an exciting art-themed play-space which features engaging activities and amazing artworks.  

bright & shiny is an innovative program exclusively for children four years and under and designed specifically to support their learning needs.

A qualified group leader will guide children in each 45 minute bright & shiny session. The sessions are designed for parents/carers to enjoy with their children and incorporates creative experiences including art making, observation activities, storytelling and play. Bookings are essential as places are limited to ensure personalised attention for each child.

Indigenous Artists of Australia: A photographic exhibition by Silvana van Dijk 
The performing art of Indigenous Australians is recognised worldwide as one of the most raw and fascinating art forms on Earth. The exhibition Indigenous Artists of Australia is a multimedia exhibition celebrating those who have performed this unique art form on the world's stage.

Using photography and  film, the exhibition depicts the success and the scale of the impact of Indigenous art both here in its home country and across the world.

This exhibition marks the National Aborigines and Islanders Day Observance Committee week by featuring the works of indigenous artists in the City of Ipswich Collection.

Selected artists include Emily Kngwarreye, Judy Watson, Kathleen Petarreye, Gordon Bennett and Roesella Namok.
