Construction Site For Prep – Year 7
Construction Site will challenge students to work individually and in groups to imagine, design, create (and demolish!) using large, high density foam blocks in an assortment of shapes and sizes. These sessions will give students the opportunity to engage in the activities and explore and discuss artworks by Paul Caporn (sculpture) and June Bum Park (new media).

Creative Play For Prep – Year 2
Creative Play in Construction Site includes an interactive guided tour of this incredible interactive exhibition followed by a hands-on art making activity. The art making activity will involve the manipulation of fun materials to design and construct a sculpture to take home.

Scale Free Network – art/science workshops for students
Students will use stereo microscopes to explore detailed structures through different levels of magnification, they will observe anything from skin cells to plant structures to butterfly wings.
Students will then be encouraged to complete individual and collaborative drawings using live projections from under the microscope.

Open to primary and secondary visual art and science teachers, these hands-on workshops give you the opportunity to work directly with microbiologist Dr. Gregory Crocetti and visual artist Briony Barr. Observe items under stereo microscopes and complete individual and collaborative drawings using a range of fun materials.
