Weave a world of wonder this Easter at the Ipswich Art Gallery.

Take in the heights on the spectacular Climbing Web created by artist Evelyn Roth. Filling up the entire Children’s Gallery, and complete with energetic music and disco light, it’s an exciting and safe environment where kids can climb, tumble, dive and spin while safely suspended off the ground.

Inspired to try your own hand at weaving? Hone your technique with a range of interesting materials on the Weaving Walls, and then take yourself over to Disco WeaveThere you can decorate a recycled compact disc using groovy neons, metallic wools and quirky plastics. Take home your disco weave, or hang it up in the Gallery’s shimmering wall of colour. For an extra $2 you can purchase a bag of funky beads from the Information Desk.

Still have energy to burn? Head outside to d’Arcy Doyle place and challenge yourself on the Rock Climbing Wall. Can you make it all the way to the top?

Don’t miss out on the fun these School Holidays at the Ipswich Art Gallery.

Please note, the Ipswich Art Gallery is CLOSED Good Friday 30 March, but will be OPEN throughout the remainder of the Easter school holidays, daily 10am to 5pm.
