COVID-19 restrictions are set to change significantly in Queensland, including Ipswich, from Friday 17 December 2021.

On Tuesday 7 December 2021, Queensland’s Chief Health Officer released the Public Health and Social Measures Linked to Vaccination Status Direction under the Public Health Act 2005.

For Ipswich City Council, the vaccination requirements in the Direction apply to Ipswich Art Gallery. This means patrons will need to show proof of vaccination to enter this venue and check in via the Check in Qld QR Code displayed at the gallery’s entry.

The Ipswich Art Gallery’s COVID-Safe plan limits the number of visitors in attendance at any one time.  Some events and exhibitions may require pre-booking via EventBrite.

All visitors must provide contact tracing information on arrival by checking in via the digital Check In Qld App – our staff can assist with this if required or can check you in manually if you do not have a smart device.
