Kids, come and craft your own Kokedama!

What’s that, you ask?

A traditional Japanese hanging plant made from a ball of soil covered with moss and containing an ornamental plant. These popular decorations are fun and easy to make, and can last for years if cared for properly.

These Easter school holidays, we’re filling the Main Hall with moss, plants and loads of dirt ready to be combined into hanging creations. In this hands-on workshop, children and adults will learn to create a string ball plant of your own to take home!

It’s messy, it’s creative and a great chance for children to learn more about plants. Suitable for children aged five years and over.Younger children may participate with the assistance of a parent/ carer.
