Students will discover the basic techniques of clay making through step by step guidance from facilitators at these hands-on Create with Clay workshops. The session touches upon the social and art history of clay and its significance in other cultures and countries such as Greece, Egypt, Japan and Korea.

Guaranteed to delight children, clay is tactile medium which encourages kids to think about shape, form and structure through modelling and 3D construction. Techniques learnt throughout the session include pinch and coil pot construction, slab construction as well as clay rolling and scoring.
